If you dont have a picture of what Heaven could be like... why would you make it your ultimate focus? We talk about and dream of a place far beyond the blue but do we really know what we are in for? Some dont even believe, they say stop chasing waterfalls and believing in fairy tails I believe Heaven is much more than what I can ever think or imagine.
It's like this! Living in the world is like using this old cell phone. It's chunky, its heavy and lets face it the reception sucks. But its the only cell you know so you use it, take care of it and show it off. Then something happens and you meet someone who offers you an upgrade.
And so you use this phone, you love this phone. It is lighter and has a bigger screen. It even has a color screen! It still has some glitches but it is a far cry from the old one. This is the Christian life on earth. We live it and follow in faith that there is something even better for us in store... We hear stories about a place where they are no tears, no ding, a perfect place. and so we wait... and we see glimpses of this place. However we can not know exactly what it will be like. we really have no idea. Till that day when we are given the ultimate UPGRADE
However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"--
This is the upgrade! It blows our minds! We can not fathom how we could have ever used the ones before! And God smiles casue this is what He had for us the whole time!
If you can see beyond what is presented here on this earth, you would want it to be your ultimate upgrade.
